Learning From My Betting Failures

[ English ]

1st to explain why I write this article. I have been wagering on the web or at land-based casinos for a great many years. I have discovered, the dependency can grab a hold of you and you won’t even realize it up until you are penniless. Especially if you’re on a winning streak. I have gone through many tens of thousands of dollars in only a tiny amount of time and still on occasion, I’ll go a bit too far. It seems you are just having a blast until you start to track your loss and the guilt sets in, and then you keep telling yourself "I can get it back" repeatedly. It never works. Then you feel sick in your stomach and the more you attempt the quicker you lose.

When you notice that you are up, remain on the UP! When you begin to lose, don’t tell yourself, "well just maybe just one more" and again and again, trust me, this plan hardly ever operates. Say you are betting on slots, have a bankroll put aside prior to beginning your action. Don’t exceed that limit, no matter how appealing. If you actually win, put that in a different pot. Don’t risk your winnings no matter what. Once you’ve played through your original set limit, call it a day. Head out, regardless if it’s on the web or at a land based betting house, do not stick around. Always remember, there will be another day, a different time.

Remember, betting is supposed to be exciting not exhausting, sickening work! If you aren’t having fun yourself, you do not belong there. If youcannot afford the loss, do not even begin.
